My Week #26 (2015)

Going Back To College, Brother's Birthday, 4 Years In The UK, Jurassic World And Etsy Shop Update

My Week #26 in my Filofax

Selfie in the college toilet / Lunch at Frankie and Bernie's with my friends/ I saw a street called ChickenHall Lane and I thought it was quite funny/ In the study area at college. This and the library were my home at college.

Bible Verse Of The Week
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul and all your strength"
Deuteronomy 6:5

So many things happened this week and I had loads of things on my to do list.
First of all, I wanted to mention that I watched Jurassic World last week with my brothers and I thought the movie was pretty amazing. If you haven't watched it yet, I recommend you do :)

Also, my brother turned 13 on Monday. I can't believe it's been 13 years already. How time flies.

I just realised that yesterday was the 27th of June that means I have now been in the UK for four years. It's been such a long time and I have come a long way. Even though I haven't been able to visit my friends and family back home, I do believe I will have the opportunity to do that soon :)

I also had the opportunity to go back to my college this week. I wanted to get someone to certify the copies of my exam certificates so I could send them off to my uni. I finally did that and now at least I'm not going to bother about those anymore. I am still to hear anything about my accommodation application.
While at college, I was able to speak to my Biology teacher whom I hadn't spoken to for 2 years. We got the chance to catch up and I finally was able to rant about that stupid last biology exam that made me end up with a B.
Walking through the college and just seeing all those students made me realise how much I miss college. Below are some more pictures I took.

Finally guys I just wanted to say thank you to all those who commented on last week's post regarding opening my etsy shop. I have now set one up and if you want to check it out, click here.
If you like it, please share with others too.
Thanks so much for your support.
Hope you all had an amazing week.
God bless.

Faith Journal Flip Through #7

Hello guys,
Today I wanted to share with you pages from my Faith Journal for the month of May 2015.
You can view my previous pages here.

This quote is from the song ""Break Every Chain" by Hillsong. I first heard this song on Facebook where a man shared this video of his wife playing it  and I fell in love with the song.
Then I ended up singing it in church. It is a very good song.

The theme for May was "Mercy" and the text was from Proverbs 21:21. I got to learn about a very important quality of God. He is merciful. And I learnt the difference between grace and mercy. Grace being an unmerited favour from God and mercy being an aversion of punishment we deserve. In God's  loving and kind nature, He keeps forgiving us despite the fact that we sin every single day. We can learn from this and also forgive those who wrong us just as Christ forgives us without hesitating.

This was one of the verses I liked during one of my bible study sessions. To see how I created this page from start to finish, click here.

This page was inspired by the song I smile by Kirk Franklin. I love these words and I think they are true. When you have inner joy, negative forces from the outside can't take that away from you because you will keep radiating inner joy. Find your inner joy and stick to it.

This was the page for my 19th birthday :)

I saw this quote when I was reading my daily devotional and I loved it. In moments when we don't understand God's plan, let Him do His thing. As long as you know He is in control, then just surrender all to Him and let Him do His thing.

Surprisingly enough, this page was also inspired by the same Kirk Franklin song "I Smile". I will be doing a post soon about how I created this page from start to finish so keep an eye out for that.

That is all I have for now.
Don't forget to follow or subscribe to the blog so you don't miss any updates.
Thanks for reading and God bless.

My Week #25 (2015)

Annoying Patients And Etsy Shop?

My Week #25 in my Filofax

At the GP surgery for an appointment / A walk in the park/ My new Staedtler pens/ My brother made his special cheesy toast. It was so good.

Bible Verse Of The Week:
"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. I know that full well."
Psalm 139:14

This week, I have been trying to deal with very demanding patients at work which really makes the job difficult. Most of the people I have to work with are lovely but it's not very nice when others take advantage of you just because you are supposed to be helping them. Thankfully situations like that are very rare.

On a happier note, the weather has been brighter and there's been more sunshine but this also means that it has been very hot on the ward. And it's not much fun running around when it's so hot. I have been making sure to drink enough if not I might pass out.

To Etsy Or Not To Etsy?

Since joining the planner community, I can say that I have become more involved in making stuff. Something that I never used to do before. And one thing I have always wanted to do was make my own dashboards or dividers for my planner. I don't stick anything on my dashboard as I use it for inspiration. A pretty dashboard motivates me to open my planner and actually use it.
So last weekend I made my first set of dashboards and wanted to share some of them with you guys.

Personal dashboards

Pocket dashboards

So I have a big question that I have been thinking about since making these and I would so appreciate your opinions. I really enjoyed making these and thought I might share them with others out there so
my question is, do you guys think that anyone would want to buy these? I am thinking about including other stuff like bookmarks, some inspirational prints done by me and maybe some other stationery. I have shared loads of quotes here on my blog from my journals but I really want to inspire others too. I would really appreciate your honest opinions. Please do leave a comment and tell me what you think.

These are some of the prints I made.

And bookmarks

So please let me know what you think. I would very much appreciate your comments.
Thanks for stopping by.

Unboxing And Review: Kawaii Box June 2015

Hello guys,

Today I will be sharing with you yet again another Kawaii Box. This is the one I received this month and I will just dive straight into it.

This month, there was this card with a list of all the items that  were included in the box. This has not been done before. I think this was a very good addition because a lot of the time, I have watched so many videos on YouTube where people had no idea what the items were.

There were 12 items in total in this month's box.

First things in the box were this really cute alpaca cardholder and doughnut squishy. After watching unboxings on YouTube, I hoped I would get the doughnut with white cream and sprinkles but I got this one instead. I'm not in lovw with this one but I guess there's nothing I can do.

Next things I got were this crepe phone charm and my absolute favourite- the banana plushie. I am in love with this plushie. It couldn't be any cuter.

Next things are these cute alpaca rubber and also this chocolate bar comb.

When you open the com up, it looks like this.

Next are these cute alpaca and sheep stickers and also a mini Rilakkuma letter set.
It has tiny little envelopes which are so adorable.

Next two things I got are this notebook set which I absolutely love and also the hairband. I love hair accessories and so the hair band is also one of my favourites.

Next I got this fineliner pen with red ink and the snack of the month which was this strawberry flavoured gum.

And I also got the usual vouchers for the kawaii box website, Blippo website and also an introduction to the Japan Candy Box.

And these are all the twelve items I received again.

I really loved the items in this box. The only things I would have preferred not to have had are the doughnut squishy and the crepe phone charms. What do you guys suggest  I do with all these phone charms and squishies? Do you just hand them up or throw them in your purse, coz I think the charms a little too big. Please let  me know in the comments.

Find below the unboxing video.

Thanks so much for reading.

The Washi Tape Tag

Hello lovely people,

I've always wanted to do this tag ever since it was popular last year but I didn't think my washi collection was big enough. Now that I'm sure I'm not the kind of girl who would own hundreds of rolls of washi no matter how much I love it, I have decided to give this tag a go.
So here are the questions.

Show us your washi tape collection

These are all the rolls of washi I own. I used to own some fabric tape too but I didn't like them as much so I gave them out.

Where do you buy your washies? Favorite store? Website? Etsy store?

I got this set of 6 from Amazon and you can view the listing here.

I got this set of 10 from eBay. I can't remember the name of the seller but you can always check out some of them here.

These two aren't made of paper. They feel more like sellotape with very pretty designs. I got these two from a Spring Gift Swap Box I received a couple of weeks ago.

This one was from my christmas stationery haul which I made a post about here.

What are you ultimate favorite washi tapes of all time?

These are my favourite washi tapes of all time. I love how colourful they are and I use them a lot.

What are your least favorite washies?

These are my least favourite mainly because I don't really like the colour black or orange and I am not really crazy about the one on the far right either. The letters on it and even the colours do not appeal to me.

Which washies have you bought but have never used?
There aren't really any washies in my collection that I have never used. This is mainly because I don't have a very large collection. I try to use even my least favourite ones.

Show us your favourite project/craft/layout you've made using washi tape

I mainly use washi to decorate my planner pages, in my smashbook journal and also in my Faith journal. Here are some of my favourite pages below.

Where do you store your washi tapes?

This is the bag where I keep my washi rolls. I got it from Superdrug for £6.99. To see what I keep in the rest of the bag, check out the post here.
I just could not resist sharing the photo of my washi tower :)

And that's it guys. Tell me all about your washi tape collection in the comments below.
