My Week #47 In Review 2016

Dancing Till 3am In The Morning, Playing With A Rat's Aorta And Fashion Show 2016 And Following God's Divine Direction

Last set of run throughs before Fashion Show/ Messing about at 2am in the morning during our last run through/ Show night/ Me on stage on the show night/ My fairy lights started working again./ I finally took out my purple extensions.

This week, we had our last set of rehearsals before Fashion show and since the show was on the 24th and 25th, we had the first three days to polish up our dances. On Wednesday, we had our last set of run throughs which started at 4pm and went on till 3am in the morning. I was surprised we still had a lot of energy during the final run through that we decided to get involved in other people's dances as well. It was so much fun and it got me all excited for the show.
The show nights came and it was a very exciting experience. Our African dance was amazing and everyone loved our #blacklivesmatter theme. My co-choreographer and I had worked so hard to put the dance together so we could pass on the message and we are so glad that everyone got the message. It was a lot of hardwork but it was all worth it in the end. I am glad that I now have my free time back now so I can catch up on my work.

This week, we had a practical where we were investigating the contraction of smooth muscle in a rat's aorta. We experimented with different drugs and monitored the effect of the drugs on the muscle contraction using a computer simulator. I thought the practical was quite interesting and I loved learning about how these other drugs worked.

Do any of you ever get times when you feel like the message preached in church was God speaking directly to you? Well I got that this Sunday and I believe that it was God's voice directed at me to comfort me during this very critical time of my life. I have had a few struggles recently which have kinda made me lose focus on my goals but God always has a way of encouraging me to stay strong and keep trusting Him.

Quote of the week

"It only takes one step for you to get closer to your destiny. In order not to miss that step, you need divine direction."
