10 things I learnt In 2016

Hello lovely people,

I can't believe this is the end of another year. 2016 is already over. I remember writing my 2015
review post about the same time last year and it's already time for another review of the year.
We all know 2016 has had it's ups and downs. A lot of things happened this year and I'm sure a lot of people would most likely remember this year for all these not so good things that happened. One of my challenges for 2016 was a gratitude challenge and I have learnt to always count it all joy even in the midst of trials. God has been faithful and He has taught me so many things this year which I will be gladly sharing today.

1. Dwelling on our past experiences do nothing but prevent us from moving forward. It also prevents us from seeing how God is working in our lives. God has such amazing plans for us so we need to stop dwelling on the past.

2. Life has so many ups and downs and sometimes it can get overwhelming when we try to do it all on our own. We need to remember there's only so much we can do. Do your best and leave the rest in the capable hands of God.

3. Sometimes we get tempted and it is very easy to pour out our frustrations on others. But even in times like this, we have to remember to be slow to anger. Being slow to anger does not mean we become blind to the wrongdoings around us. It just means that even in the moments of frustration, we can still walk in God's love.

4. The devil is a liar and he always tried to make us feel we are not good enough to fulfill our God-given goals. He brings about self doubt and tries to take away our confidence and faith but when we say that are not good enough, then we simply mean that God is not able. We need to stop believing those lies because the truth is we are not dumb, we are made in the image of God, we are surrounded with favour from God, we are the head and not the tail, we are complete in Him, God stengthens and leads us and He will do so till the very end.

5. We need to stop waiting for when we feel qualified or when we believe we've got what it takes. It is not until we step out that we will know what it feels like.

"Stop being so afraid. Don't talk yourself out of your dreams. You are just as good as everyone else. You have every right to go after your dreams. Believe in yourself. Believe in the One who lives in you"

6. Want to know God's will for your life? Then read His Word and relate His promises to your situation. He orders our steps and He has a plan for us. If we pray with a sincere heart and are willing to surrender to His will, He will reveal the perfect path He has for us. We will know by the doors of opportunities that open and shut, We will be able to tell by what excites our spirit by the tugging in our hearts. We have to remember to be prayerful and always anticipate His leading.

7. It is very easy to get distracted by the things going us around us and to lose focus on what is important. It is important to be aware of what is going on around us however, we need to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus because He is the most important above everything else.

8. It is ok to trust God even with the "little things" because to be honest nothing is little in His eyes. He cares about you and everything you care about so trust Him to also be in control of the minor events in your life.

9. Obedience to God is the best thing that one can ever decide to do. God delights in people who obey Him and if we wait in His presence, He will give us the desires of our hearts.

10. He has given us the boldness to reach out and be ambassadors of Christ and so we need to take this identity in Christ, own it and let others see Jesus in everything we do because in Him, we live and move and have our being.

These lessons have also helped build my faith a lot this year. I have grown so much and I have realised that putting Christ at the centre of everything I do puts everything into place. I am very grateful for my blog and also my growing YouTube channel and for all the amazing people I have been able to meet this year. You all have made this year really special and I thank God so much for your lives. I pray 2017 will be an even better year for all of us and that God will continue to show Himself strong in our lives.

My Week #51 In Review (2016)

More Catching Up On Lecture Notes. Dealing With Inappropriate Behaviour At Work, My DIY Deep Conditioner, One Week Left Before Going Back To Uni, Prepping And Celebrating Christmas 2016

Learning about ultrasounds/ Learning about the skin/ Hot chocolate and cream/ My DIY deep conditioner/ Our Christmas tree/ My brother's very well presented Christmas eve meal

My quote of the week
"Above all, never become a critic of yourself. If you resort to self-condemnation, you are doing the devil's job for Him in your own life. If you are a new creature in Christ, when you criticise yourself you are criticising God's handiwork. That is not your job. Don't do it."
-Derek Prince

This week, I have been doing my best to keep on top of lectures. I have finished revising the most recent material we covered just before breaking up for Christmas. So now I have been revising material from the first 5 weeks. I only have 1 weeks left of my break as we start lectures again on the 3rd of January so I have to try to go through a much as I can.

I had 2 shifts at work on Monday and on Wednesday and the shift on Wednesday was an interesting one. I work as a healthcare assistant in the hospital with elderly patients. I have been working there for over 2 years now and I have experienced a few interesting patients but with this job, you can never say that you have seen it all. Every day is a new experience that you have to deal with and Wednesday's shift was certainly one of those shifts where I had to deal with stuff. The thing about being a healthcare professional is that the patient's needs are more important even sometimes when they act inappropriately, we have to remember that they are not well and still try to act in their best interests. But what do you do when patients are of sound mind and still make inappropriate and rude comments? Laugh it off? Play along with them? Tell them off? Or let it ruin your day? In this case, I couldn't ignore them because it was an ongoing issue so I decided to play along with them. I realised if I wanted to take it to heart and be offended, it would ruin my day. There were times when I was really uncomfortable and I had to make it clear how I felt. I also found it very important to speak to colleagues about stuff like this. I realised that we are all in it together and we can share our experiences and help each other out. At the end of the day, we are all human and there are limits to what each of us can bear. I'm glad I was able to pull through that day. Thank God.

I washed my hair this week and because I didn't realise that I had run out of deep conditioner, I decided to make my very own using eggs, mayonnaise, honey and oil. It did the trick but it was dripping everywhere. Next time, I will try not to forget to buy deep conditioner.

Hope you all had an amazing Christmas with your friends and family. I certainly did. I have been thinking about making a video or a blog post about what I got for Christmas because I love watching those kind of videos so I will let you all know when the video is up.

Like I mentioned before, I have only got one week left at home before I go back to uni and I know it will be super busy.
I hope you all have a wonderful last week of the year 2016.
Thanks for reading.
God bless :)

Blogmas 2016: The True Meaning Of Christmas

Displaying IMG_1102.JPG

Hello lovely people,

Today, I bring you another festive post and since this will be the last one before Christmas, I decided to talk about the meaning of Christmas or in other words, what Christmas means to me. A lot of people view Christmas as just that time of year when everyone goes crazy buying expensive things for others, that time of year when all people care about are presents and Santa, that time of year when the streets are really decorated with beautiful lights, that time of year to spend with your friends and family or that time of year when people feel like helping others.
While I think there are some good reasons here to look forward to Christmas, I think that Christmas is way more than just gifts, food and presents. The true message of Christmas is way more comforting than just thinking about it as that time of year when people waste money on things they don't need. The true message of Christmas is based around a very popular Bible verse which most of you may already know about.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son and that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life"

John 3:16

During our Cookies and Carols event at uni a few weeks ago, the speaker gave a little talk around this verse and it made me look at it in a new light so I wanted to share with you guys as well. This verse speaks a lot but it is very easy for us to overlook the comforting message God is trying to pass across to us. In order to fully understand this message, I will break the verse down into different parts and all of this boils down to love. The love that was born at Christmas.

Where Does The Love Come From?
"For God So Loved"
This verse is a verse of love and it's all talking about love from God. He is the source of love and He is love Himself. His very character and everything He represents is all for love. And this love is not any kind of love. It's an everyday kind of love. It is being renewed every morning, everyday and always. It's a love so refreshing, so endearing, so captivating and never ending. This love does not condemn, it is lifting and it brings joy. It flows continuously from His throne of grace, it never fails, never gives up, never runs out and there is no chain this love can't break. The important question is who is this love for?

The Object Of God's Love
 "The World"
The next part of the verse says that He so loved the world. The "world" here includes all of His creation and everything He made. This includes you and I. His amazing love is for us and it does not care about what we've done or not done and it surely doesn't care about whether or not we think we are worthy. This love is for all of God's creation and He loves all of us the same.  How can we be sure that He truly loves us?

The Proof Of God's Love
"That He Gave His Only Begotten Son"
It can be hard sometimes to believe that God truly loves us especially if we struggle to love ourselves and if we don't have any others that show us love. The proof for God's love is that He sent His one and only Son- Jesus (whose birth we celebrate this season) to die for all our sins so we can be made right with Him. Jesus' death on the cross was love in its purest form and there will never be a kind of love greater than this. He died to take away all our guilt and shame, so we can have His righteousness in us and so that we can have unlimited access to God's presence. If you take a moment to think about the significance of this, you would realise how amazing God is.

Who Accepts His Love?
"Whosoever Believes In Him"
Even though God's love is for everyone, sadly not everyone accepts His love. This love never asks for anything in return. All God wants is our hearts. He wants the inner transformation of our hearts and our minds. To accept that Jesus is our Saviour and to believe and trust in Him. He wants us to surrender our everything to Him because He is the Creator of the universe, He has a plan for us and He knows best. Sometimes we struggle to do things on our own and we want to take control of our lives and it can become overwhelming. God is offering us a solution with open arms saying that we do not have to bear the burden. He is right here to carry us through it but only if we let Him.

Benefits Of His Love
"Shall Not Perish But Have Eternal Life"
Accepting God's love comes with so many benefits and I'm not just talking about physical or earthly blessings. Physical blessings are part of it but not always the case and not the most important. I love God because he brings me joy. He brings me comfort and He is the only reason I keep going with life despite the evil, suffering and disappointments I constantly face. Most importantly, I love God because of His promises. He has promised that the story does not end here on earth. He has promised us a life in eternity with Him where there will be no tears, no pain and no sorrow. Oh tears will never stain the streets of that city- the city of gold. If that doesn't sound amazing to you then I don't know what will.

I want to leave you guys with this amazing rendition of "O come all ye faithful" by Pentatonix.

So what is the true meaning of Christmas?
Jesus is the reason for the season.
Get to know Him and you will never regret it.
Wishing you all a blessed Christmas :)

God bless :)

Blogmas 2016: Faith Journal Flip Through #11 (Christmas Pages)

Hello lovely people,
I bring you yet another festive post today and I am going to be sharing with you guys Christmas pages from my Faith journal. I didn't really get the chance to decorate my Christmas pages this year so I am sharing with you my pages from last year.

Displaying FullSizeRender.jpg

In this page, I was learning a lot about faith and I wrote down a few verses that I had come across during my Bible study. The one important thing I learnt from this page is that our spiritual strength comes only from God. We might try to do stuff on our own or even try to help God work in us but when we understand that our power comes only from Him, we can then be able to surrender all we have to Him and let His will prevail. Trusting God without even knowing what His will entails and knowing that His will shall be good for us is what faith is all about.

Displaying FullSizeRender.jpg

In this next page, I wrote down the lyrics to one of my favourite songs called Something Inside So Strong. I love how powerful these lyrics are and I like to preach these words to myself as one of my biggest challenges is overcoming fear. Fear does not come from God. God has given us the spirit of boldness and if I preach that to myself and believe with all my heart, then I will build my faith and be able to knock down every kind of fear trying to prevent me from fulfilling God's will for my life.

Displaying FullSizeRender.jpg

The Bible says that we should count it all joy even when we face diverse trials. It says that the testing of our faith produces endurance and if we let endurance do its work in our lives, we will be made perfect and entire and we will lack nothing at all. I love this verse so much and I think it is a very comforting piece to meditate on. Know that God never allows trials come to break you but to make you better than you were before so count it all joy :)

Displaying FullSizeRender.jpg

Another verse I really loved that spoke to me during one of my Bible study sessions was this one from 1 Peter 1:24-25 about the faithfulness of God's word. The one reason that I trust God in everything I do is that He never fails me. People will fail me as they are only human but God is not human and His Word is just and true. He is good and His faithfulness endures forever.

This page was one I did on Christmas Day last year. I know I am not perfect at drawing but I really loved how this one turned out. Happy Birthday Jesus!!!

Displaying FullSizeRender.jpg

In this page, I just poured out all what was in my heart on paper and this was in the form of a letter. It is so comforting to know that we may not be perfect but God still loves us enough to send His perfect Son-Jesus into the world so we might be made righteous in His eyes. God is just amazing!!!

Hope your Christmas season is going well.
Thank you all for stopping by.

My Week #50 In Review (2016)

Going To London, My First Praise Dance, Christmas Gifts And Studying Till 4am?

Waiting for the train going to London/ Christmas decorations in London/ My housemates spoiling me with food/ Cute little Bible my mum gave me/ My anatomy diagrams/ Found out that drawing diagrams makes neuroanatomy so much easier to learn :)

Bible Verse Of The Week
" Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army, for the battle is not yours but God's. You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you Judah and Jerusalem. So do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you."
2 Chronicles 20:15, 17

This week, I went to London on Monday evening because I had to attend a Christmas Carol event at the church I attend in London. We were doing a praise dance performance for this event and it was the first time I actually choreographed and did a praise dance. Some of you may know that I do love dancing especially to Afrobeats and that I have been part of many charity dance shows at my uni. When I was younger, I used to dance in church as part of our Sunday School but since I moved to the UK, I haven't really done any dancing in the church so this was a very different yet rewarding experience for me. I love dancing and most importantly, I love dancing for God. It is so nice to use our talents to glorify Him and so I hope that praise dancing is something that I will continue to do.

It's only 7 days left till Christmas and I am yet to finish buying Christmas presents for my family. I have bought most of the things I need to buy so hopefully all the presents will arrive well before Christmas.

I also adopted a weird studying habit this week which was studying from 11pm till about 4am in the morning and then waking up to go do a late shift at work. I was doing this without taking proper naps in the afternoon and so I think it started affecting me a little as I was wearing myself out. I think sometimes we can become so engrossed in trying to get things done that we forget to look after ourselves and so I have decided to make sure I get enough sleep so I don't overwork myself.
Studying is going well so far and I can say that I am track in terms of what I planned to cover so far. There's only 2 weeks left of the Christmas break and so I have to make sure I keep on top of the work before second term starts again on the 3rd of January.

If you haven't already seen my festive post for this week, then make sure to check out my previous post on The Story Behind "The Little Drummer Boy". There will be a few more festive posts going out over the next few days so please keep an eye out for those.

Blogmas 2016: The Story Behind "The Little Drummer Boy"

Displaying IMG_0994.PNG

Hello lovely people,
Continuing in the festive spirit of blogmas, I decided to bring you yet another post today about one of my favourite Christmas songs. There was a post I put up last week about why I love Christmas songs and I also shared some of my favourite Christmas songs. One of them is "Little Drummer Boy" and my absolute favourite version is that by Pentatonix. I had always listened to that song but never actually paid any attention whatsoever to the lyrics but one day the lyrics actually spoke to me.

But of course I know it wasn't the lyrics speaking. It was God speaking to me through the lyrics of the song. And now I want to share with you guys why I love this song so much and why the lyrics mean so much to me.

Displaying IMG_0995.PNG

This song from its name tells the story of the little drummer boy who was brought before Jesus to present His gift to the New Born King.
Now I'm sure most of us know the nativity story very well and we know there was no drummer boy but to be honest, I do like the fact that they included a drummer boy in this song.
This little drummer was told that he was going to see the King of Kings who had been born and was asked to bring the finest gifts he had. Gifts that are fit to give to a King. Now if I ever had to visit the Queen of England and had to buy her a gift of some kind, I would immediately think of the most expensive things because she is a very classy lady. In the same way, this drummer boy was expected to bring expensive gifts to present before Jesus. We know that the three wise men who had come from afar brought what they thought were their finest gifts and presented Jesus with gold, frankincense and myrrh. All these gifts are very expensive and definitely fit enough to give a King.

I like the fact that this song does not only  say they had to present gifts to Jesus but it says why they had to do that. The reason for this was to give Him honour and glory. It was an act of worship to the Saviour acknowledging that He was the Messiah.

Displaying IMG_0996.PNG

The story then goes on to say that the boy examined himself and thought he was too poor and could never bring a gift fit enough to give a King. He said he was unworthy and had nothing to offer. He did not have gold or frankincense or myrrh to present before Jesus but he had a drum. His little drum is all he had and he asked if He could play for Jesus. Mary nodded and asked Him to go ahead and he played his drum for Jesus.

The part that gets me the most in this song is when he says "I played my best for Him". So he didn't have the most expensive materialistic gifts but with the little he had that God had given Him, he used it to bring the best gift he could ever possibly give. And of course the part that warms my heart is when it says that Jesus smiled at Him. This was confirmation that His gift had been accepted.

Isn't this such a wonderful story? I believe that children of God can all relate to the little drummer boy in this story. Thinking about all the good things God has done for us, we can  never ever be able to repay him. Fortunately for us, He is not interested in materialistic gifts but He is interested in what our hearts have to offer. We can offer up our praise, worship, thanksgiving and use our gifts to bring glory to His name. He has given each and everyone of us gifts and we can all use these gifts to bring honour to Him.

We do not have to be the richest person on earth to please God and He is not interested in our money or our accomplishments or the things we can or cannot do. He is only interested in our hearts. Truly, the Lord delights in the hearts of those who love Him. So I would like to encourage you guys today to use whatever gift God has given you to honour Him. If you can sing, dance, encourage others, pray with others, help others or if you can even play an instrument like a drum, use these gifts to bless others and by doing this, it will bring God glory.
No matter how small this gift or talent is, use it to honour Him and watch Him prove Himself to you.

"In the same way, let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Heavenly Father in Heaven"
Matthew 5:16

God is just amazing guys and I hope I have been able to make you see also how amazing He is.
Never dim your light. Put it on for the whole world to see and glorify our Heavenly Father.

So what do you think of this song?
What other Christmas songs do you love?
Please do let me know in the comments below.
Thank you so much for reading.

My Week #49 In Review (2016)

Back Home, Being Spoilt By Mum, Festive Blogmas Posts, Catching Up With Uni Work And Going Back To Work?

Mum was bae and made me an omellette/ Wash day. Look out for a hair update post on my journey to natural hair/ Catching up on work/ Dad driving me to work.

"Nothing is ever impossible. You will never be able to do it if you don't try. The words "I can't" should never be in your dictionary"
-Inspiring words from my favourite patient of the week

I am now home for the Christmas break and it is really nice to be able to spend time with my family again. I have only been back for a week but I am already being spoilt with my mum's food. I missed it so I can't really complain. I love being back home with my family.

I have also been putting out some  festive blog posts in my very poor attempt at blogmas and the two posts I put out this week were My Operation Christmas Child Experience and also one about Why I Love Christmas Songs. There will be many more festive posts this month so keep an eye out for them.

I also have been doing my possible best to catch up on work from uni as I ended up getting behind on lectures due to the crazy events that took place during the last few weeks of term. There are a lot of distractions at home but with God's help, I believe I will be able to get through this.

Finally, I called up my ward in the hospital and secured a few shifts this week. It was really nice of them to welcome me back and it's nice to know I can always go back whenever I am on a break from uni. Living in London is super expensive and so whatever I can get during this period will go a long way. I will also be able to do a few more shifts over the next 3 weeks and I love going back to my colleagues and my adorable elderly patients :)

Blogmas 2016: My Favourite Christmas Songs And Why I Love Them

Hello lovely people,
In an attempt to continue this partial blogmas 2016, I bring you guys yet another festive post today. Just in case I haven't mentioned it enough on here, I absolutely love Christmas and one of the things that makes me love this season as much as I do is the singing of Christmas Carols.
I don't know about you but Christmas wouldn't be Christmas to me without Christmas Carols.
What I love most about these songs apart from their catchy tunes or the fact that they just carry an unexplained joy and cheer with them, is the fact that these songs are centered around one of the most amazing stories ever told- the birth of a Saviour.

I love the Christmas season because it is probably the only time of year that most people whether Christian or not would unite to sing glory to the Father and acknowledge this amazing gift that God gave us in the form of His one and only Son- Jesus. I do love the tunes but I also love who the songs are about.
So without further ado, I present to you a list of a few of my favourite Christmas songs and my favourite parts of the songs.

O Holy Night

"Fall on your knees!
Oh hear the angels voices!
O night divine,
O night when Christ was born"

Silent Night

"Round yon virgin mother and child
Holy infant so tender and mild
Sleep in heavenly peace"

Hark The Herald Angels Sing

"Veiled in flesh, the God had seen,
Hail the incarnate deity
Pleased, as man with men to dwell
Jesus, our Emmanuel
Hark the herald angels sing
Glory to the newborn King"

Little Drummer Boy

"Little baby,
I am a poor boy too
I have no gift to bring
That's fit to give a King"

O Come Let Us Adore Him

"O come all ye faithful
Joyful and triumphant
O come ye o come ye
To Bethlehem
Come and behold Him
Born the King of angels

O come let us adore Him
Christ the Lord"

In one of my upcoming posts, I will be talking more about the song "Little Drummer Boy" and what that song means to me.

Blogmas 2016: My Operation Christmas Child Experience

Hello lovely people,
To kick start my little attempt at "blogmas" this year, I have decided to get the ball rolling with this post I have been wanting to share with you guys. I mentioned a while ago that I got involved in this charity known as Operation Christmas Child and I thought it would be great to share my experience with you guys.

What is Operation Christmas Child?
This is a charity run by an organisation known an Samaritan's Purse. This is an evangelical Christian humanitarian aid organisation that provides aid to people in physical need as a key part of Christian missionary work. The aim of the charity is basically to pack shoe boxes with gifts and to send them off to children all over the world so they can get it by Christmas. You could pack as many shoe boxes as you want and also fill it with as many gifts as you want. The gifts do not have to be expensive but just basic necessities for the children like toiletries and sanitary items, toys, sweets, clothes and other stuff. You can choose to either pack a shoe box for a girl or a boy and all the resources needed can be found on the website.

Why did I decide to do it?
I have always wanted to be actively involved in charities and so a while ago, I was looking at some charities that I could get involved in over Christmas and that is how I stumbled upon Operation Christmas Child. After watching a viral video on Facebook and saw the happy faces of all the children receiving their shoe boxes, I was totally hooked and knew that I really wanted to get involved.
Growing up in Cameroon- West Africa, I can say that I know what it feels like to not have much to live by everyday but God has been faithful to my family and I over the past years and all I want to do is help others as much as I can. The fact that his charity is also another way of sharing the gospel of Christ was also one of my motivations for getting involved. I think it is a wonderful way of spreading the gospel of love to these children so that they know they never alone no matter the situations they face and that God still loves and cares about them.

My Experience
This was my first time packing a shoe box so I was very excited about this. I decided to pack for a girl 10-14 years of age just because I felt like packing for an older child and I find it easier to buy gifts for girls. I got a shoe box from shoezone and I wrapped it with Christmas wrapping paper then I I bought the items from Card factory, Poundland and Wilko. If you want to see all the items I bought then you can watch the YouTube video below.

I also took some time out to pray for the child receiving the gift that it will bless their lives and that God will encourage them and comfort them and also be with them in all their endeavours. It was such a rewarding experience for me and I am so glad I decided to take part in this. I will definitely be doing this again next year and maybe I will pack another shoe box for a boy as well.

If you want to know more about this charity, how to pack a shoe box, more ideas on what to include, how to get labels and other resources, then visit their website here.

Have you ever heard about this charity?
If so have you ever been involved?
If not, will you want to get involved in the future?
Please do let me know in the comments below :)
Thanks ever so much for watching,
God bless :)

My Week #48 In Review (2016)

Cookies And Carols. Catching Up With Work, End Of Term, It's December, Research Day 2016, Winter Here Already, CU Christmas Celebration, Family Christmas Dinner And Introducing Blogmas 2016?

"It only takes one step to get closer to your destiny. In order for you not to miss it, you need divine intervention"

There were a lot of events that happened this week which made it a very exciting way to end the term. First of all we had our cookies and carols event which was hosted by the Christian Union and there were a variety of acts like singing and spoken word poetry. It was a really nice way to celebrate the beginning of this festive period.

I also attended the research day for our university this year. It was a really good opportunity to get to know about some of the work is being carried out by the university. There was a poster exhibition and a lot of freebies were given out too. Looking at all the posters and learning about the different research projects got me really excited about getting into research. I have never been involved in a research project before but I hope that soon enough, I will be able to get some experience in this area.

Displaying IMG_0992.JPG
A digipad attached to a microscope enabling you to view the specimen directly without looking into the microscope/ One of my favourite posters at the poster exhibition/ Hulk wearing a labcoat/ Research day lectures.

We also had a Christmas celebration organised by the christian union. Our staff worker who lives in one the big mansions in Wimbledon invited us to her house for a bonfire night, It was a night full of games, laughter, sweets, chocolates, bonfire, smores and singing. Again, it was such a fun way to end the term.

Finally, we also had a family christmas dinner for my university family. It was organised by the second years in the family and we wanted the freshers to get an opportunity to meet the older years and just to get to know each other. I made "poulet dj" for this event which is a Cameroonian dish made up of fried plantain and chicken. The food went down really well and we had so much fun playing games and all. We even did a mannequin challenge video and it was such fun to be part of it.

Finally, we are in the last month of the year 2016. My favourite time of year has finally arrived and I am so excited for this Christmas

That's Christmas To Me by Pentatonix

My excitement for this festive period has made me want to attempt to do blogmas this year. When I say "blogmas" though, it wouldn't be a complete blogging everyday kinda blogmas haha. I'm just using this title to motivate me to blog more this Christmas period. I won't be putting posts up everyday but I sure will post a lot more regularly than I have been doing over the past couple of weeks. University took up a lot of my time this semester and I was not able to blog as regularly as I would have wanted to. That's alright though because I do have a lot of exciting posts planned for the next few weeks and I can't wait to share with all of you.

How was your week?
How is December going for you so far?

Thanks so much for reading.
God bless :)
