My Week #26 In Review (2017)

Driving My Brother To School For The First Time, Entering The Manchester Cathedral Poetry Competition, Doing Some HCA Shifts And Back In London

I started watching the TV series "Confessions of A Junior Doctor" and I love it/ My dream car :)/ Waiting for my train after a long shift. Why am I still taking the train when I can drive? / The little things my mum does for me makes me love her more every day/ My brothers cooked for me. I just love my whole family and this week made me even more grateful to have such amazing people in my life.

My Favourite Quote Of The Week
"Take risks in your life. If you win, you can lead; if you lose, you can guide"

I spent this whole week at home and it was nice to be with my family again after the stressful season of exams. I drove my brother to school for the first time and I drove back home on my own as well. That was the first time I had ever done that since I passed my test in May. It felt so weird driving on my own but I did it and I was so happy. I drove quite a bit this week and I have to say, my confidence is growing so praise God for that. Sooner or later I am going to have to get onto the motorway.

I also entered the Manchester Cathedral Poetry competition this week. God has really inspired me to write a lot more poems this year and I just thought I'd put myself out there and see what happens. Considering the fact that there are a lot of really good poets out there, my chances might not be very good but whatever happens, I'll keep writing to give glory to God alone.

I did a few more shifts at work this week and it was really nice working with my colleagues again. The last time I was there was in December and so a lot of things have changed about the ward. There are a lot of new staff now but everyone is still so lovely. I worked four days in a row and I was absolutely exhausted by the end of it but I am so grateful to God for strength.

I am back in London now and I will be starting my Summer Vacation Studentship tomorrow. I am very excited for this so I am hoping and praying it goes well.

My Song Of The Month
