Favourite Quote Of The Month
"Everything that God allows to come our way is always with a purpose. He uses even the greatest error and deepest pain to mold us into a better person"

End Of Freshers Week And Grub Crawl
Freshers fortnight finished with the Grub Crawl which is was event organised by the Christian Union. The Grub Crawl was an alternative to the student union's Pub Crawl. Instead of going from one pub to another drinking, the Grub Crawl involved going from house to house eating food. Food and desserts were all provided by students from the Christian Union. It was a really successful event and it gave us an opportunity to meet a lot of freshers. The food was very good too :)

Research Project Update
It has been well over a month now since I started my laboratory based research project. Overall, I would have to say I am really enjoying it so far. Everything seems to be going well and I have managed to get some really good results which I am going to write about in my dissertation. It is a lot of hard work though and it takes up a lot of time. I have to be in the lab every day during the week and this doesn't give me enough time to focus on other things like going through my lecture notes. The one thing that comforts me is that my research project is worth more than everything else this year so I really hope and pray that it all pays off in the end. I have started writing the introduction for my dissertation which is a good thing.

Module Update
I am really enjoying my science of reproduction module. We are over half way done with the module now and lectures are piling up. I decided to hand write all my notes this year because I find it helps me organise everything I need to know including notes from extra reading. I am a few lectures behind but it could be worse to be honest. We also have a 3000 word essay to write which is due in January but I'd like to try and write it before the Christmas holidays. I did another DITL video showing a bit of what I do in the laboratory and you can watch that below if you are interested.

Book Writing Update
Writing is also kind of going well. I have finished editing 2 out 7 parts. I would like to finish editing by the end of the year but I guess I'll see how that goes. I just have so much university work to do that I haven't had the time to just properly edit. I am trying not to stress too much about it though. I know that eventually, some day, the book will be ready for the world to see. I'll just take it one step at a time. I don't want to rush it. I want to be able to give it my 100% attention and do it well.

Song Of The Month
I really love this song by Dr Tumi called "You Are My Rest". It is so comforting to know that we can always find rest in Jesus.

Hope you are all well.
Please do let me now what you have been up to recently.
Have a lovely day.
God bless :)
