Favourite Quote Of The Month
I know how to get along with humble means, and I also know how to live in prosperity; in any and every circumstance I have learned the secret of being filled and going hungry, both of having abundance and suffering need. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.

Writing And Handing In My Dissertation

So you guys might have read in my last update that I was working on my research project and writing my dissertation. I finished all my lab work at the beginning of January and I handed in the first draft of my dissertation on the 7th of February. It was a really good feeling to finally finish the first draft at least. I did a vlog on the day I handed in my first draft which you can find below.

Handing In The First Draft Of My Dissertion

After about 3 weeks of editing, rewriting and constantly bugging my supervisors to read over sections of my dissertation, I finally finished writing my dissertation. It was a stressful time for me because I was in a charity dance show case around that time and a few days before the deadline, I had flu-like symptoms. It was so hard to push myself to work even thought I wasn't feeling well but I am grateful because God gave me the strength to push through. I finally was able to print off and bind 3 copies of my dissertation. I recorded what I did during the last few days leading up to the final deadline. You can watch the vlog below.

Tooting Show 2018

Like I mentioned above, I was part of yet another charity show here at my university called Tooting Show. I was given the opportunity to choreograph the African dance. All the money raised from this show went to a charity in Congo called Pads For Africa. The money was going to rebuild an orphanage in Congo to help the children have a better standard of living. It was such a beautiful experience to be part of, It may be my last show here at university as I am in my final year but I guess we will see what God has planned for the future.

Finishing My Modules

At the end of March, I finished all my modules for the year. I did Clinical Neuroscience and Biomedical Research Techniques for Drug Development this semester. The in-course assessments for these modules involved critically analysing a research paper. They were both due on the same day which made things a little bit more stressful but I was grateful I was doing the same even though they were 2 very different papers. I managed to hand them both in on time by God's grace and now all I have left is to revise for my final exams.

More Opportunities To Teach And Growth

Over the last two months, God has really helped push me out of my comfort zone. I have learnt so much about myself and just letting God use me to reach out to others. I am learning how to be more sensitive to the Holy Spirit and to walk according to His guidance. I had the opportunity to  take on the sermon during our Youth day at church and also to share my testimony at my university's Christian union meeting. It has been such a privilege to speak for Christ and I am very much looking forward to seeing where this journey takes me. I have shared videos of these talks below if you are interested in watching.

Book Writing Update

Last but not the least, I thought I would give you guys a little update on my book. The last video I share was of me unboxing the proof copy from CreateSpace and I did say that I have given people to read and give me feedback. I am still working on trying to get this book published so I am hoping that in the not so distant future, I will be sharing more exciting news with you all by God's special grace.

Song Of The Month

"I've found peace far beyond all understanding.
Let it flow when my mind's under siege
All anxiety bows in the presence of Jesus the keeper of peace
And peace is a promise He keeps."
